Flushing of Envirolyte and ECO units is the question frequently asked by our clients. We do recommend periodical flushing of the units to prolong their effective service time and achieve the best perfomance. The hardness (mineralisation) of the water and service time of the units determine how often the units should be flushed.
Based on the experience and numerous tests The Envirolyte Group has worked out recommendations as to when the flushing of the units is advisable. These recemmendations are available upon request.
Envirolyte Service kit

In order to make flushing an easy and simple procedure The Envirolyte Group has introduced a service kit. The service kit consists of a power control board and a pump which delivers a 5% solution of HCl or vinegar to the cells of Envirolyte or ECO units. With the help of a service kit the flushing solution (HCl or vinegar) can be easily either pumped through the cells or kept there for a certain period of time to dilute the sediments in the cathode camera and flush out.
The service kit is very easy to operate and it requires only mains power (220/110 VAC) and a few litres of prepared 5% HCl solution or Vinegar to do the flushing. Connection to the flushing object can be seen on the photos.
The service kit is built into double walled plastic case to make it possible to go and do the flushing at any destination. The construction gives a strong, light and stable case, which can handle bumps and blows.
