Envirolyte EL-300: value in a small package

  • The Envirolyte EL-300 units have been designed to produce activated solutions (Anolyte and Catholyte).
  • Easy operating procedures give the added benefit to rapid delivery of safe and fast acting biocide-Anolyte
   Envirolyte EL-300
  • The Envirolyte EL-300 unit has been developed to produce ~300L per day of Anolyte and ~150L per day of Catholyte on the spot and on demand when disinfecting, sterilisation and water purification are required.

  • The weight and dimensions of the unit are kept low and small to ease handling, maintenance and transportation.

  • The strength of Anolyte in terms of active chlorine concentration can be adjusted by current setting.

The key features and general specifications of Envirolyte EL-300

  I   Features of Envirolyte EL-300

  • A self-cleaning cycle has been programmed into the machine, which ensures easy maintenance, long life-time and maximum productivity.
  • The unique design of the central core ensures the electrolyte used in the processing of solutions has maximum contact with the electrodes and therefore ensures the most efficient use of energy and low salt consuption.

  • There is a minimal hydraulic resistance against liquids flowing through the core chambers and therefore optimum flow rate is achieved.
  • The electrodes are specifically designed to endure high electrochemical loading as are the membranes, which separate the activated solutions.
  • The enclosure is made of non-corrosive materials. Tubes and connectors are of EPDM/PVDF plastics and are highly resistant against aggressive solutions.
  • A simple on/off switch with a power indicator starts and stops the unit manually.

Activated solutions produced by Envirolyte EL-300 units

   ~300L per day ANOLYTE
This solution has a pH value of 2.0 to 3.5 and can be used wherever there is a need to disinfect or sterilise in applications where the pH is unimportant and where there is a need to reduce the pH level of the water to be treated.

Amps active chlorine mg/l pH ORP mV (redox-potential)
~28-30 ~500 2.0-3.5 >1100
  ~100L per day CATHOLYTE
Alkaline CATHOLYTE has a pH between 11 and 13 can be used for flocculation (e.g. of heavy metals), coagulation, washing, extraction. Furthermore this solution can be used to wash wounds (instead of using iodine) and wherever there is a need to increase pH level of the water to be treated.
